GREAT VALUE! This very good collection consists of 21 plants (7
each of the following varieties): Raspberry Glen Ample (picture 1)
- The vigorous upright canes are spine-free. The large crimson fruits are
fleshy, succulent and exquisitely flavoured. A superb dessert variety, but
also ideal for freezing or jam making; Raspberry Joan J (picture 2)
- Produces an abundance of large, bright, juicy berries with a truly
delicious flavour. What's more, if you find you can't eat the fruit as
quickly as you harvest it, Joan J comes out of the freezer tasting as
sweet and delicious as the day it was picked. As a 'primocane' variety,
it fruits on newly produced canes - harvest the first berries from late
July/early August, and keep picking right through to the first frosts in
October/November! & Raspberry Malling Minerva (picture 3) - This
superb variety will start to fruit in early June and carry on for up to
six weeks, producing a bountiful crop of good-sized, deliciously
flavoured, medium-firm berries. What's more, the succulent flesh pulls
effortlessly from the central core, making picking easy. An excellent
choice for gardens as plants are spineless, show good disease resistance
and are easy to manage.
