Nothing compares to the mouth-watering taste of berries freshly picked
from your own garden! With our soft fruit saver collection (17 plants -
10 strawberries, 5 raspberries, 1 blueberry & 1 blackcurrant) you can
enjoy Strawberry Christine - This strawberry is the earliest
variety we offer, cropping outside from the first week in June, and from
mid-May under cover. The fruit is large, firm and extremely juicy and
sweet! Easy to grow, with good pest and disease resistance;
Blackcurrant Ben Sarek - Mouthwatering fruit carried in abundance
from mid-July to mid-August. Ideal for small gardens or patios, with a
maximum height of 90cm (3'). Good resistance to mildew and frost. Plant
1.2m (4') apart, 1.3m (4.6") between rows; Blueberry Bluecrop - A
superb, midseason variety, producing a good picking of large richly
flavoured berries from the end of July. Forms a medium size, spreading
bush approximately 120cm (4') high that is very tolerant of adverse
conditions (especially frost) making it a good garden plant; Raspberry
Joan J - Produces an abundance of large, bright, juicy berries, with
a truly delicious flavour. What's more, if you find you can't eat the
fruit as quickly as you harvest it, Joan J comes out of the freezer
tasting as sweet and delicious as the day it was picked. As a 'primocane'
variety, it fruits on newly produced canes - harvest the first berries
from late July/early August, and keep picking right through to the first
frost in October/November! These four mouth-wateringly delicious fruits
will give a tasty harvest throughout summer and autumn.
